Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a British/Lebanese lawyer, human rights advocate and charitable philanthropist. She graduated from Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. Her long career has earned her international acclaim by her contributions to international law as well as in the area of human rights. Some of her clients are the people of Armenia which is fighting the Turkish government over the acceptance and apology for the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged, and later got married to American actor George Clooney, instantly making her one of the most famous names in the world of pop-culture. In the past, she had been known for her success in representing her clients before courts and was well-known. The job she has is to represent multinational firms in negotiations and court cases regarding government regulations, and also human rights or social justice. In 2015 and beyond, she was a barrister in British Court within Doughty Street Chambers.
